Vero Beach Toyota needed a major showroom facelift as well as a service expansion. The ownership team decided to refresh the whole customer facing area, create a brand new enclosed service drive and double the size of the work shop. ID Automotive managed the entire project from Architect and GC selection, to furnishing and show equipment build out proposals. The biggest challenge to this project was keeping the dealership open and operational through a significant renovation to the entire facility. ID Automotive coordinated modular trailers to be brought on site and set up with Management offices, F&I offices and sales desks. Separate trailers for service advisors and for the back office staff were also brought in and set up on site. A unique design element included in the facility is a Chick-fil-A cafe adjoining the customer lounge. ID Automotive reached out to the local Chick-fil-A franchisee and negotiated a satellite location for them inside the dealership. The dealer provides the space, service counter, warming drawers and refrigerated display case. The Chick-fil-A franchisee provides all the food and drink and staffs the counter each day. Customers and staff alike appreciate being able to grab a meal without having to leave the dealership. Additionally the new Chick-fil-A location brings walk in traffic to the dealership that may not have stopped there before.
