Panama City Toyota
OVERVIEW
To say that the Panama City Toyota project was a challenge is truly an understatement. Originally a large hardware store, the facility was converted in 1982 into a Toyota dealership. ID Automotive was challenged by family owned Panama City Toyota to bring the facility up to Toyota Image USA II standards. The owner wanted a facility which would be a destination for Toyota enthusiasts, as he has a growing collection of vintage Land Cruisers and other unique classic Toyotas. ID Automotive managed all aspects of the project from design and construction to interior furnishings and work shop build out. A mere 14 days after opening the doors on this beautiful new store, Hurricane Michael came through Panama City and ripped the roof off the building. The owner brought in semi trailer trucks full of food and set up to feed displaced residents and first responders. ID Automotive immediately put an action plan together to clean up the damage and start repairing the facility. It was at this time that “Cafe FJ” was born, A unique customer waiting lounge experience which serves food and beverages. Customer can sit and enjoy a bite in the bright lounge or wander around the vintage Toyota collection. The crews all worked hard, and not even a year later a bigger, better Panama City Toyota was reopened to the community.
